This is the old covered bridge in Lucerne, Switzerland.

The shot was taken by bracing the camera and making sure to get it as well focussed as possible before taking the shot.

A small amount of image colour saturation enhancement (but not a lot) has resulted in a pretty decent capture of the sense of the place.
