This is a good illustration of the merits of the use of a small amount of Panorama Mode to simulate making the iPhone lens just a bit wider in angle. Now the rainbow fits!

However, Panorama mode does distort foreground detail, in a manner especially obvious in the presence of straight lines like those on the oval foreground of this image.
